Background
MTR Design was founded in the autumn of 2005. During these years we completed more than 100 web projects for various clients in the United Kingdom, USA and Bulgaria. We have found lots of friends and partners, and working with them has been both a pleasure and a privilege.
We believe that the passion in our work is the main prerequisite for the creation of a remarkable project. And we are really flattered when we receive such references:
Clients
Our company currently works as a dedicated development team with some of the UK’s smartest digital agencies. We quickly gained a reputation for our CMS, e-commerce and custom web application development skills, and now more than fifty UK sites, large and small, are using our "in-house" content management system, and rely on our technical support.
Team
Director/ Project Manager
With more than 10 years experience in the Internet Industry, Milen Nedev co-founded MTR Design in 2005. Throughout the years Milen won, directed, and successfully completed a number of web projects for Bulgarian clients (such as The Institute for Market Economics, Fair Play International, Euro Finance) as well as for distinguished American and British companies such as The Electric Sheep Company, River Cottage, BAA and Rude Health.
Designer/Project Manager
After about ten years working in the 2d animation industry in Hungary and England, Elena is back to Bulgaria, and now is an important member of our team. She has BA in Animation from NBU, Sofia, Bulgaria, and HNC in Multimedia from Westminster Kingsway College, London, UK. Her experience comes from working for clients such as Kellogg's, Dream Works and BBC.
Business Development Manager
Creative Entrepreneur, Marketing Consultant and Creative Industries Expert, Neil is the latest addition to our team, and helps MTR Design to expand their partner network in UK. Occasionally known as "Neil Raygun", he was a co-founder of Wales' all-time most successful electronic music label, Plastic Raygun, and ran its Marketing and A&R for 5 years. He is currently setting up Dizzy Jam, his new project, and also run Nocci, the network for the cultural and creative industries.
Business Development and Marketing Manager
Nikolay is one of the co-founders of MTR Design in 2005. With over eight years previous experience in sales and marketing, at MTR Design he is responsible for expanding the business, and developing trusted and mutually profitable relationships with our partners.
Nikolay holds MS in Economics from UNWE – Sofia.
Account Manager
Pavel is the newest member of the MTR team. Based in our London's office, he is our front office operator in UK - dealing with enquiries and clients. His experience comes from marketing positions he held in the last 10 years in companies including AG Capital, M Evans and Address RE. Pavel has BA in Econimics from Economic University Varna.
Web Developer
Valentin has been part of MTR Design from it’s early days, and has been working on the development of more than 30 web projects, including Content Management Systems, blog platforms, social networks, and online shops. He is one of the people with biggest contribution for the development of our framework and CMS (Content Management System).
Valentin has BA in Information systems, and MA in Economics from Economic University – Varna, Bulgaria.
Web Developer
In addition to being our osCommerce expert, Marush is also a WordPress enthusiast. He is the main reason for the existence of MTR podcast recorder - our plug-in for the popular blog platform WordPress. Marush still amasses fundamental knowledge in the Technical University in Sofia, department of Mathematics and Informatics.
Front End Developer
Alexander does most of the so called client-side scripting at MTR Design, but had also gained a great experience with WordPress, and our "in-house" content management system.
Web Developer
Unlike the rest of our developers, who grew in technical knowledge and skills simultaneously with the evolvement of MTR as a company, Vladimir joined MTR Design as a proven professional. With more than five years previous experience, three of which in the position of Senior Web Developer at Design.bg, Vladimir has a rich experience with system and application development under UNIX/POSIX based OS, knowledge of C++ library and design, programming and administration of MySQL databases.
He holds BS degree in Computer Systems and Technologies from the Burgas Free University, Bulgaria.
Consultants
Georgi Baldjiev is an independent consultant, whose valuable expertise we are happy to use in our work on more complex web projects. He has a solid background in the area of Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and is an expert in the field of Neural network and Artificial Intelligence.
Maxim Kolev has been working for over ten years as a Project Manager in the Business Applications sphere. He has been part of the development and introduction of Business Management, Customer relationships, and Human Resources Management Systems. Currently he is a Sales Manager at Tonegan, one of the leading software companies in Bulgaria.
