While in our clients work we always strive to do well, make some money and learn more, our own projects are the ones that really bring to the surface our best ideas and way of thinking.
Why own projects
From our early days we believe that from long term sustainability and viability point of view we should try to develop as both service and product based agency. Our own products have not brought us a fortune yet, but creating them do give us the chance to experiment with new technologies, to PR ourselves a little, and to demonstrate our potential to prospective clients.
Our "Hello World" application, or MTR Podcast Recorder
Our WP plugin, MTR Podcast Recorder, offers real-time recording that is stored on the same server where WordPress is installed. All recordings are saved as MP3 files using the popular LAME encoder. You could manage your play lists and recordings from the WordPress administration. You could also easily add a Podcast Player widget to any of your sidebars, posts, or pages if you want to promote a specific recording to your readers.
The plugin could be downloaded from the official WordPress Plugin Directory.

Our first B2B web application, or MTR Design Digital Archive
The MTR Design Digital Archive is a digital asset management system. It's being used by companies for managing their digital assets online - this can either be online or on internal servers with no outside access.
The archive has a full suite of features that will enable your business to manage, store and retrieve thousands and thousands of digital files such as images, video, PDFs, MP3s and zip files. You can control who accesses them, what they can access, who can contribute and what's been viewed and downloaded. The system features a lightbox function, for sorting images and documents, enabling group editing and discussion of certain assets within a private and secure environment.
